Issue:
Newsletter subscribers were opening emails but not clicking and there was a high unsubscription rate
Solution:
We analyzed the customer website traffic and we found out that most subscribers were receiving promotions about places they were not interested, so we helped him build an automation to send only interesting notifications.
- Tag visitors by their most important macro categories: apartment, villa, land.
- Send automated emails about latest promotions of a macro category whenever a lead visits more than 3 times the category page
Our customer also began to send 4 small newsletters instead of a big generic email: 3 specific emails for the tagged leads and a generic one with only latest or uncategorized offers for untagged leads. This lead to a massive augment of click rate and conversion and drastically reduced the unsubscribe rate.
